British adventure(r) // Photographer// based in Chamonix, France

Personal story

British born photographer/athlete based in Chamonix, France with a soft spot for endurance challenges and high places.

My story, I played rugby at a fairly good level as I was younger. As that wound down I started exploring some of the national Parks in the UK - I got lucky with an opportunity in Portland, Oregon and found myself based there for a year which just opened a whole new world of adventure for me. I’m kinda just rolling with it and hoping the adventure doesn’t end.

My next adventure, I don’t think I’m a good planner so my adventures tend to find me. I’m training for a couple of ultra marathons this spring and I’d love to try and fit in some bike packing later in the season if I can.

Being part of the Falke team, I’d like to share some of my adventures, meet some cool people and hopefully inspire and be inspired to just get out and get after it.

Triathlete // Marathoner // Finance Professional

Personal story

I was an avid golfer growing up. I found a passion for running and triathlon after moving from California to London and getting involved in the London running
community. I've taken part in numerous triathlons and road races across the US and Europe and I am a three-time marathon finisher. Having taken a maternity break last year and now gradually returning to fitness, my aim is to inspire more women in their postpartum fitness journey and to be a role model for my daughter.
Finishing Ironman 70.3 Switzerland is my proudest sports achievement and medal to date, because it's the result of hard work and determination, and simultaneously balancing training while working full-time and completing my Masters Degree.
Inspiring more women in their postpartum fitness journey.
A positive and passionate community of individuals who share a love for sport.

Ultra-trail runner // Husky mum // Mountain lover

Personal story

I live in the centre of the Austrian Alps. My heart beats for three things: the mountains, my Husky, Lea, and mango juice Spritz.
Everyday life! Being able to practice my favorite sports such as trail running/mountaineering, ski touring, cycling, yoga, swimming and running.
Good question. ;)
I have a long list that (un)fortunately grows too fast. For the winter season I would
like to have good snow again, so I can spend more time on ski mountaineering.
I see this as an opportunity for me to incorporate my experience and product knowledge in the further developments of FALKE products, allowing the products to
be better adapted to their respective sports and to female athletes. I am also looking forward to being part of a great team, making new friends and having lots of
fun out in nature.

Ultra trail runner // Adventurer

Personal story

I am a runner and coffee lover, living in the Netherlands but loving the mountains. I am always on the lookout for my next great adventure. I am a product marketing consultant at FALKE Sport and professional actress and model.

In 2018 I did my very first ultra through the desert from Dubai to Oman, running 180km in 4 days, with 7 women. The year before, I had broken my ankle badly and
was only able to run again 9 months prior to said race. The fact that I was able to complete it, made me I could achieve anything I set my mind to. Since then, I have
felt confident challenging myself on other ultra trails in extreme conditions.

Ultra Runner // Adventurer // Outdoorlover

Personal story

I’ve been an outdoor enthusiast ever since my childhood. Although I enjoy all sports, my heart beats for running. Originally chasing PBs in road races between
10km and marathon distance, I caught the trail ultra bug a few years ago and I’m always up for new running challenges.
Recent highlights from my running career include:
Finishing the TransAlpineRun three times (+250km with +15km of altitude in 2021, 2018 and 2016)

In 2019, I was able to make it to the podium of my first 100km race in the Sahara
desert, which I then won the following year.

This year, my biggest adventure so far has been the Montane Lapland Arctic Ultra, a
500km race on foot, pulling everything I needed on a sled through the winter
wonderland of the Swedish Lapland, an area that is often referred to as Europe’s
last wilderness.

A bunch of self-organized projects, like running ten marathons in 10 days across Sweden with some friends. One of my most exciting solo adventures was to run the Heidschnuckenweg, a long-distance trail over 220km in the North of Germany, in 40 hours “non-stop” - nothing went as planned on this FKT which was amazing. I have quite a few more projects planned like this - so stay tuned. ;)

The next official event I have lined up, will be the Mozart 100k in the Austrian Alps.
Meeting and having lots of fun with like-minded active people, exchanging ideas and testing new products.

Ultra Runner // Adventurer // Traveler

Personal story

I started my running career with cross-country and track & field when I was 11- years old. I quickly moved over to water polo and after a long break with
bodyboarding and snowboarding, I started doing triathlons. After two years and at the age of 38, I went into 10k and marathon running, completing my goal of sub-3 hours during Berlin marathon in 2017. After that, I started doing trail running and have since never stopped exploring the trails of Eastern Europe.
My toughest race was Oman by UTMB (137km) , where I transitioned from road to trail in just 6 months. Unfortunately, I had to stop at 116km, but the experience was very powerful and has since inspired me to keep exploring more mountains across the world.
Running 78km at Mozart100 in July and thereafter heading to Marathon Des Sables as race organizer.

Sports enthusiast // Trail runner // Adventurer

Personal story

I started running when I was a little kid. Since then, sports has been my biggest passion and it makes me feel happy. I don’t consider myself only a good athlete in terms of results of big races I’ve been lucky to participate in, but I also like to practice all kinds of sports as a form of freedom and motivation for myself. I like to share this passion with others who think the same.
My thrive for adventures and new challenges in the trail running field has given me the best moments in life and I hope to continue to live it to the fullest.

Running and participating in the Half Marathon des Sables in Desierto de Ica, Perú. It was a lifetime experience, where I ran 120km in 3 stages in total self sufficiency. It was the most gratifying experience both from an athlete perspective as well as on a personal level. I met great people, had fun, suffered a lot and discovered my passion for ultra trails.

This year, it's the OCC UTMB race that I'll participate in. I'm training hard to be on a high level at this race this year. The OCC has 55km and 3500+ altitude meters and is held in Chamonix, France.

I’m a passionate trail runner and outdoor sports enthusiast, and I love to share this passion with likeminded people. I'd love to get to know more people in the sports field, share great adventures with them and of course try out the newest Falke gear.

Black Sober Vegan Runner

Personal story

After choosing a sober life, I found veganism and running.  Sobriety, veganism and running are all individual journeys within themselves but work together in my quest for a meaningful and happy existence.

Honestly, sobriety has been my biggest adventure so far. Being an alcoholic, my identity was based on that relationship so removing that from my life was by far one of the scariest things I have ever done.

My next physical adventure is running 3 marathons in 3 months (Sept, Oct, Nov).

I hope to have the opportunity to explore the world, meet new people and increase the representation of black runners in this space.
